Huffman Pilot

James Huffman who I acted with in Oblivious wrote a pilot about actors. I got cast as an actor going on an audition. He's leaving next week to go out to LA and pitch it, good luck James.

Intensive Film Course

I took a two day film course with Dov Simons. I learned so much on how to get an indie film off the ground from writing to pre-production. I would highly recommend this course.

Fresh Basil Productions, NY Street Films Screening

We're putting together a screening of many short films with my production company Fresh Basil Productions and NY Street Films. It will be held at 2nd on 2nd on the 30th of this month at 6:30pm. They have a great screen and happy hour specials.

Tom Taddeo is working on his second feature called The Actor. I got a part. This is my first time working in front of a green screen. There is also a very cool interrogation scene. He is shooting this film in 48 hrs. Good Luck Tom.

Went to an industry dinner that Producer/ Actor Bill Kalatsky put together. I met some very cool producers Greg Segal, Tom Romita, Rick Van Meter and Director Rodney Hakim. Bill Kalatsky is the expert on networking pick up a copy of his book The Networking Bible For Actors.

I just finished a 3 month intensive wine class that I took through the Union Square Hospitality Group.   Everyone that works for Danny Meyer is friendly and knowledgeable. I learned a lot and met really great people.

Pre-production on Responsible

Responsible is the next short film in our trilogy. Casting notices will go up this week and we are planning to shoot in approx. 3 weeks. It's exciting to see these shorts come together.

Appetite Screening at Dekk

The screening of Appetite at Dekk in Tribeca was a huge success! 65+ friends, family and people from the NYC film community came out in full support. There's nothing liking seeing your vision alive on the big screen! We also screened Infected , a short we made for the NYC Midnight Movie Madness. Infected took 5th place overall, but came in 1st in it's category. It was also honored with "Best Editing, Best Writing, Best Sound, and Best Female Actress."

Had a great time today working with Director Matthew Abourezk and Producer Trish Dalton at About.com. It was a cool job where I will be featured on the site as an office worker showing ways to keep proper posture. It was a pleasure to collaborate with the Talkingbox Digital Media Group team.
